Week 35 – Nehemiah

Just because it’s God’s Plan and He uses His people to bring it about, doesn’t mean that the whole process is going to be a walk in the park. On the contrary, as we have learned over the last few months, Satan and humanities sinfulness often try to derail God’s Plan. This week Nehemiah and the Jerusalem rebuilders find that out first hand. They want to rebuild God’s Holy city but the nations around them, and the people’s sin, continue to fight against it. The good news is that God is always faithful and will see His people through any obstacle they face. It was a good lesson for Nehemiah and it a fantastic lesson for us as well.
