Bread of Life
When Jesus describes Himself in John 6 as the bread of life, we know that He highlights for us His mission of salvation. As our bread of life, Jesus comes to forgive us, renew us, and lead us toward a meaningful life in relationship with Him. Let us taste and experience that life together this day as the Holy Spirit calls us to walk with Jesus and be satisfied by His presence among us.

We are blessed to be God’s children and salted in Christ Jesus. Paul reminds us to let our conversations be “seasoned with salt.” During this Lenten season we are reminded that we are blessed to sweeten this world with the presence of Christ in us

Lent begins with ashes. Fixing our eyes on Jesus during the forty-day season of Lent, we journey with Him to Calvary’s cross where, enduring the “ashes” of our sins and the penalty they deserve, He grants to us the beauty of His forgiveness, full and free.
