12th Sunday after Pentecost

God of Grace
God of Glory

Lest we miss Your kingdom’s goal…

Cure Your Children’s warring
Bend our pride to Your control
Shame our wanton selfish gladness
Rich in things and poor in soul
Grant us wisdom Grant us courage
Lest we miss Your kindom’s goal

What are you doing here, Elijah?

Elijah was running scared. Behold, the word of the LORD came to Elijah and asked him to go and anoint his successor, Elisha.

But as for us, Jesus calls us to Follow Him and Proclaim the Kingdom of God.

Trinity Sunday

Like Three Matches in One Flame

For there is one Person of the Father; another of the Son; and another of the Holy Ghost.

But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is all one; the Glory equal, the Majesty coeternal.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

~ Ephesians 4:4–7 ~

The Lamb’s Book of Life

I am written in the Lamb’s Book of Life

And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.

And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.

~ Revelation 21:22–23 ~

I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.
